"Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit" Joseph Pilates The Pilates method is a powerful, full body system of exercises specially designed for the mat and are designed to educate, re-pattern and re-align your body for optimal performance. Pilates will sculpt and condition your whole body, relieve pain and assist in rehabilitation from injuries, improve posture, strength and flexibility, and relieve tension and stress - a result which Joseph Pilates referred to as the uniform development of the mind,body and spirit. Each Pilates session is designed to build the foundation for gradual progression into more challenging exercises linked by transitions that lead to deeply satisfying movement connected to the breath as your body flexes, extends and twists its way to optimum health and vitality.

How to prepare

Please arrive in plenty of time for your class. You must be in the yoga room ready by the class start time as we start our classes on time and latecomers cannot be admitted. Your reserved spot may then be given to a standby student. Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. When coming to any Hot Class you are required to have a towel that covers the entire mat. We do rent these for an additional £2.00 if needed.

Pacific Yoga is located on the ground floor of the Brewhouse in Georges Square.

What is ClassPass?
