About this class
Prenatal Yoga applies postures, breathing and meditation to help sooth the challenges of pregnancy, and to prepare expectant mothers for both delivery and postpartum recuperation. Yoga has been shown to help alleviate many of the common complaints that occur during pregnancy such as heartburn, swelling, back pain and sciatica while also bringing a deep awareness and a sense of joy at experiencing the natural changes that occur during these 9 months. These classes will build strength, focus and flexibility through a gentle practice designed especially for the pregnant woman’s needs. Expect a combination of active, flowing poses as well as restorative poses to relax and re-energize. Simple breathing and meditation techniques will be introduced to support the practice and bring the attention inward. Prenatal Yoga classes provide a serene, supportive, community energy that will allow you to connect with other moms-to-be.

How to prepare
Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Please come on time as the classes will start in time.

Address: Unit A5, 12-14 Persiaran Ampang Hilir. The road Persiaran Ampang Hilir is in between Jalan U-Thant and Jalan Ampang. So there are 2 ways to get to Albakri Court. Via Jalan U-Thant, go down the road until you reach the traffic light. Turn left at the light on Persiaran Ampang Hilir. Albakri Court is on the right. Via Jalan Ampang, go down the road until you reach the traffic light. Turn right at the light, take the second exit at the roundabout and go straight on Persiaran Ampang Hilir. Albakri Court will be on your left.
