About this class

Their Intro to Yoga is a basics class that allows the yoga student the opportunity to learn the yoga poses in a slower moving environment. The yoga poses will be broken down to their basic elements and will include modification so any student can safely practice. It is taught at a slower pace allowing for gentle transitions between postures. This practice will have both gentle and challenging aspects to it. This class is suitable for all a wide range of body types, fitness levels, and ages and will benefit students new to yoga as well as experienced students looking for an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the poses. At least five to ten Intro to Yoga is recommended before moving on to a Moderate or Power class. Students can choose to stay with the Intro to Power Yoga that enjoy less heat and additional instruction. Heat will be at about 80-85 degrees.
