About this class

A slow paced meditative and profound practice, yin yoga focuses on intense deep stretching of the body’s connective tissues around the joints, and focuses on the energy channels within the body. Holding postures for up to 5 minutes, you will develop an inner awareness of how the body can accumulate tension, how it holds on to it and how to release it. Observe the feelings and sensations that arise with no attachment, this practice will bring stillness and peace to your whole being. Yin yoga is very complimentary with the stronger Yang classes.
