Center the mind & body by using breathing exercises and physical poses (asanas) to circulate the blood & gain flexibility and strength, coupled with using relaxation poses to restore the body and promote well-being. Hatha is a classical yoga system that focuses on creating a healthy body and peaceful mind. Hatha 1 is appropriate for beginners as well as for more experienced practitioners looking for a deep dive into the fundamentals.

Nice relaxing class, but Lania was a little disorganized. I would recommend but don't need to go back with all of the other options out there.

A little too slow paced for my taste. Level 1 class. Ujiayi breathing was never mentioned or encouraged. Nice focus on alignment. Offered modifications based on student's ailments and skill levels.

I wish there was more "flow" and less explanation. I do realize it was an open level class and Heather was good about giving several options. I felt like there was some dead space that could have been filled by a different transition or movement.
