About this class
Classes embody the classic practice of Hatha Yoga, as taught in India, with the use of pranayama breath work, dynamic asanas (poses) and meditation. This authentic yoga class has a focus on connecting breath with movement to bring harmony to body and mind. Ravi, ‘the smiling Yogi’, was born in India into a family of spiritual teachers and from a young age he grew up with yoga practice as part of his daily life. Ravi has been teaching all across India since 2010; most recently he was the resident teacher at Little Cove Yoga, voted as one of the best yoga schools in Goa, where he led classes for thousands of students from all over the world. Ravi is passionate about making the original principles of traditional Indian Yoga understandable for everyone and combines movement, breath and sacred mantras in an accessible and playful way. Ravi’s warm, welcoming smile makes all feel comfortable at his classes, from the new to experienced Yogis.

How to prepare
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for yoga or meditation. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing for yoga is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Wearing slightly loose-fitting clothing for meditation is advised so that you may relax comfortably.
