There is no need for an elaborate name to describe this class: we're getting STRONG! Using a mix of weight training, HIIT method, cardio intervals, kettlebells and Pilates techniques, this class is a full body workout that will leave you feeling sweaty and powerful. Small class sizes and close work with your trainer will give you the opportunity to work with equipment/moves that are best suited to you and your body's potential! Let's get STRONG!

STRONG with Sydney
Sydney is fantastic and always pushes me to my limits and sometimes beyond. This gym is a gem and offers a comfortable and welcoming space for women of all sorts to work out in. I am glad to be around the people who come here and the instructors who are really inspiring to me. I have grown so much stronger since working out here and feel more confident, as a person plus with regard to what I can achieve. This gym is so much better than others on class pass, where the instructors are arrogant and those attending the classes look at you with disdain if you aren’t muscly. Deep breath. That’s all. Rock on LFS!

Sydney is genuinely great. She’s upbeat, knowledgeable, and authentic. But there was no urgency in this class. I took the time out of my really busy day & went out of my way to workout, anticipating a solid class. Instead there was a lot of standing around, lengthy warmups, fetching & setting up of equipment, switching partners & then accommodating of individual needs by taking weight on & off the bar repeatedly, joking & conversation between instructor & clients, debating of which exercises the class was going to do, and long-winded explanations of how to perform certain moves/exercises. The class lacked in focus & structure & there were very few actual exercises which in total didn't equate a fullbody workout. Most frustrating was that I counted only just over 20 minutes of actual movement amidst all of the standing around. When I go to a workout class, I want to feel the burn - I want to sweat - I want to be challenged with quick transitions and get in and out feeling accomplished.

You will feel the burn after for sure. As a beginner whos never lifted a weight before, it was a challenge and hard. The class runs like a circuit so it helps to push yourself to your limits and try to focus. It was a little bit overwhelming for my strength level but Sydney, the staff, and the classmates were all so polite and helpful!!

STRONG was a small class of 4 including me. I felt with such a small class there should have been a little more direction. I am new to this type of class but when I attend different classes I enjoy a lot of direction, positive affirmations, positive and excited energy. I would have loved if she did more of the work out with us and directed what we were doing in smaller chunks. I think this class is more for people with experience but definitely could be for beginners with more direction-especially because you could pick different weights and change your sets as needed.

What is ClassPass?
