How it works

About this class

Class meets near the Japanese Tea Garden in the tour bus parking lot, behind the band shell of the Music Concourse. Members usually park along the intersection of MLK Drive and Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. Some members walk or ride their bikes over, too. Each class is divided into groups based on fitness level. The 6am class features a non-running group. It's good to wear layered workout clothing and comfortable running shoes. The weather is usually chilly when class starts, so it helps to wear light jacket that you can wrap around your waist after warmup.

Class did not meet up where it said in the class pass description. I wish the instructor provided a number or email where they could be reached in the event of a schedule change etc.

I wasn't able to find this class. I followed directions for where to park and where to meet and no one else arrived. I walked around near where we were supposed to be and still did not find anyone.

This class was SO MUCH FUN! The small group is so nice and friendly and the trainer really knew his stuff, kept us motivated and pumped the whole time! It was challenging but you could take it at your own pace. Highly recommend if you live out in the Richmond or Sunset!
