About this class

Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic yoga practice that cultivates presence by connecting movement with breath. Most classes feature several elements of traditional Ashtanga yoga—including sun salutations, standing poses, preparation for arm balances, dynamic stretching, and pranayama (breathwork). Their diverse family of teachers creatively sequence these elements to reflect their unique personalities while building heat, exploring energy and fostering greater self-awareness. This practice will build your inner and outer strength, improve your balance, and reduce stress while increasing vitality and athleticism. Vinyasa classes labeled “1-2” take care to define and align the key components of traditional and modern Vinyasa practice, including weight-bearing on wrists and arms, fluid transitions between postures, and muscular movements linked to inhales and exhales. Beneficial for all practitioners, these classes teach important foundations while leaving space for more advanced practitioners to play.

How to prepare

Bring a yoga mat and a water bottle, and if you are taking a KindHot class, bring a towel. Please note you must show up to class at least five minutes early. If you have not arrived five minutes before class is scheduled to start and the class roster is full, your spot may be given to another student. Thank you for being punctual!

How to get there

Kindness is located in the northeast side of Stanley Marketplace, across from Bounce and below Infinite Monkey Theorem. Stanley Marketplace houses many businesses, so give yourself plenty of time to find the space! New users please arrive 15 mins early to fill out mandatory injury waiver. Users who do not sign the waiver will not be admitted into class. Kindness classes are first come, first served and space is not guaranteed.

Classes at the Kindness are generally more basic and straightforward than at most of the other locations. Solid and well taught.

What is ClassPass?

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
