About this class

This heart-pumping, strength-building, aerial hammock conditioning class is sure to make you feel the burn! With an emphasis on core, back, and upper-body strength, After Burn: Intermediate Aerial Yoga Power Flow will help you get into a peak state of aerial fitness in no time. After Burn is a great choice for anyone interested in moving onto more advanced classes and building their strength for circus. Intermediate through advanced students on all apparatus are welcome. The instructor will show numerous modifications and variations appropriate for different levels of experience. While these adjustments and adequate spotting and support will be available, After Burn is not a beginner-friendly class, and previous aerial experience is required. All students enrolling in After Burn: Intermediate Aerial Power Conditioning MUST first take a minimum of one Intro level class and five Beginner or All Level classes (or have equivalent aerial experience). All Intermediate level classes require that students be fully comfortable in and with all the basic aerial wraps, poses, inversions and transitions, and have adequate grip, upper body strength, and core strength to safely participate and control their own body weight without additional support from the fabric. We are committed to providing each and every client with a safe and fun aerial experience, and this policy is an important factor in our being able to do so. If you register for this class without having the required and necessary prerequisite experience, you may be asked to leave or sit out for all or part of the class, at the sole discretion of the instructor, and you will be charged for your space in class pursuant to the studio's cancellation policy. If you have any questions about our classes or have previous experience at another aerial studio, please call or text the studio at (215) 550-5344, email us at fly@kayaaerialyoga.com, or contact us on social media at @kayaaerialyoga.

How to prepare

Please wear clothing that covers your underarms, and nothing that is too loose fitting. Loose-fitting clothing can get burdensome in the wraps and cause students to be uncomfortable.

Fabulous class! Sara is such an awesome instructor - I clearly hadn't had as much experience as others in the class, but she made sure that I didn't feel left out and was very encouraging. Definitely going back!!
