About this class
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

How to prepare
Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Cross trainers are recommended for most classes. In mat classes like Bodydflow, they recommend going barefoot or wearing non-slip socks. Kaha Fitness supplies all the equipment you need for class and they offer cubbies to store your belongings. The only things they recommend that you bring are water (also available for purchase at the front desk) and a sweat towel.
How to get there
Kaha Fitness is inside the loop on the Northeast corner of Indianapolis. The closest major intersection is 71st Street and Binford Ave. From Binford, go West on 71st Street. You'll go through one stoplight (at Graham Rd), then turn left onto Hawthorn Park Drive. The road will wind back a bit and lead to a business park. Look for the Kaha Fitness signs pointing you in the right direction and then into the parking lot at 6857 Hawthorn Park Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
