About this class

HIITDance is a new class format that has you dancing, squatting, burpeeing, push-uping, squeezing lemons... You will move through several sets of HIIT intervals followed by cardio dance recovery intervals. When you're done you will walk out of the place sparkling and ready to take on anything your crazy life decides to throw at you next.

How to prepare

Please wear fitness attire that you can move freely in. Bringing your own personal water bottle and towel is not required but highly encouraged.

How to get there

The class is located at Balance at Urbanity dance studio, located in the rear of 111 W Concord Street. To get there, walk down W Concord Street to Newland Street. Turn left onto Newland Street at Newland Street Park (small park with playground). Then another left onto Newland Place (alley/parking for W Concord St) and the entrance will be about 125 feet down, on your left.

Love HIIT Dance with Chelsea - one of the best classes of this style I've taken!

Super high energy workout!

Chelsea is an up and coming dance instructor that is working her butt off (literally) to make it big. The class was good and it seemed like everyone was just there to have fun. My problem was that the music was not loud enough and the dance routines were not on beat with the music. I have done several Zumba classes were its less following the instructor and more feeling the music and I did not feel that in this class. However, the HIIT aspect was a HIT I did not have to wait 24hrs to be sore, I already am.

What is ClassPass?
