Tokyo Disco uses overload techniques employed in each pod, targeting either only lower body or upper body-based movements. This 12 Station workout will have your leave each muscle group pumped and ready for recovery and growth! FOCUS Tokyo Disco is a holistic resistance program, with a very simple room split; upper body and lower body. Tokyo Disco is designed to make you stronger and more functional. BENEFITS The major benefits of Tokyo Disco, and in general - functional training and resistance training - include: time efficiency; high calorie expenditure; multi joint and muscle movement; connective tissue strength; stress relief, and of course, the building of lean muscle mass. Resistance training also has some powerful inflammatory benefits. FACTS & FEELINGS The simple purpose of this workout is to overload the body, all achieved within two carefully constructed pods - starting with the upper parts of the body and then the lower components. There will be nowhere to hide when you have 6 exhausting upper body sets in a row and vice versa for lower body. Tokyo Disco is sure to bring the DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) - the pain and stiffness felt in muscles from several hours to even days after strenuous exercise. Usually it is most aggressive around 48 to 72 hours after the exercise.

How to prepare
First timers should arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early. They will set you up with a guest HR monitor, get you a towel and introduce you to the trainers. They need to know about your ambitions and injuries so that they can get you the most out of every class. That’s what they are there to do, give you a terrific experience!
