Pilates Sculpt includes your classic core workout but kicks it up a notch! This total body workout will maximize your results by focusing on muscle-building moves using hand weights, sliding discs and other props to target your abs, arms, upper back, inner thighs and glutes!

How to prepare

For health & safety reasons, Fuel Pilates requires that clients wear socks for class. They recommend "sticky" socks which can be purchased in-studio for $14.

How to get there

Make sure you double check the address before going to the studio! It has moved full time to its new location at 2934 M Street NW. The entrance to the studio is on 30th Street.

Not as challenging as I would have liked. My abs were a little sore the next day but I didnt break a sweat during the session and the soreness quickly faded which means I either wasnt doing he exercises right or it wasnt enough of a challenge.

Sara is very attentive. Small group class. No sweat, no muscle pain today but a good reminder of one,s abs.

It was okay. It wasn't really challenging and didn't break a sweat. I would say it would be good for beginners.

Really enjoyed this class. I normally do HIIT, this was a very welcome break. The instructor was really helpful, provided lots of correction and made me feel very welcome.

Sara is a great instructor. She is super lively, funny and super helpful with form. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it's slightly slower paced than the classes I'm used to (I.e. Corepower, Barre3). But if you want a workout that is relaxing yet challenging, is highly recommend giving this one a try.

Although I usually really like the classes I take at this studio, this one was a big disappointment. I like Sara's barre class, but she ran an uninspiring, confusing, and ineffective pilates sculpt class. I would not recommend this class.

Great class, great instructor, will definitely be back! One observation, the lighting in the studio is not ideal. Staring up at those recessed lights - I think I'm still seeing spots!
