How it works

About this class

75 minutes A deep, slow class, based entirely on the floor. This class is yoga physiotherapy, deeply correcting, aligning and releasing. You will open your hips, spine, neck, shoulders and wrists carefully, deeply and softly. You will get flexible in slow holds, stronger in stationary core activators, passively and actively open tight areas with the help of props. You will go from active poses to gradually getting wound down, de-stressed and softened. We end with a long Yoga Nidra and guided meditation. Retreat INward to re-connect, relax and restore your power and truth. Yin on steroids - IN.

Fabulous teacher - I’ve done a lot of yoga classes and she introduced lots of new poses and stretches. It was very relaxing but still worked the body hard. Really enjoyed it.

Class good, did not rate the instructor. She told people they were doing it wrong over the microphone instead of correcting people more subtly

The fullest yoga class ever been to! Not enough blocks for everyone which is frustrating in a yin class. The overcrowding made the change rooms very unpleasant and dysfunctional. The class itself was well run but definitely more a strength class than a yin class.

Great class and fab teacher with clear instructions to follow however class description did say ‘We end with a long Yoga Nidra and guided meditation’ which didn’t happen, which I was disappointed about as that was one of the reasons I’d booked the class.

How to prepare

This is Hot yoga so we do advise that you arrive for your class fully hydrated. You'll need two towels (one to practice, one to shower) and some water. Towels can be rented for £1.20 and water is on sale. Mats rental is included. Please feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Lockers (using padlocks), showers with shower gel and shampoo and hair dryers are all available.

How to get there

There is pay and display parking on surrounding streets (Beethoven, Fifth Ave, Oliphant St, Nutbourne St, Dart St, Bravington St) from 8am to 6.30pm Mon to Fri and there is a large pay and display car park on the Kilburn Lane junction with Salisbury Rd. Before 8am and after 6.30pm parking is free on single yellow lines along Kilburn Lane. A short walk from Queen's Park or Kensal Rise stations.
