About this class

For beginners through experienced athletes, this class is designed to build strength, add definition, increase bone density, decrease body fat and increase lean muscle.  This is not a fast paced class, rather a time to train on technique and form as you complete the prescribed workout at your own pace with your own weight and a personal trainer and coach. Coaches will lead a group warm-up and work on mobility specific to each training session and will work with each student to ensure proper form and range of motion on each lift. This class uses kettlebells, dumbbells, plate loaded barbells, and body weight for maximum effectiveness. It is suggested to attend this class 3x a week. We have found that consistent strength training for three days a week delivers the improvements we are seeking. However, you will also see benefits by adding this class to your schedule once or twice a week.

This class is not good for beginners unless you’ve done weight lifting/CrossFit before and if you have, you’re not really a beginner. This is essentially a CrossFit class and the modifications were still not good for a beginner.

What is ClassPass?
