About this class

The Reformer is the most versatile piece of equipment developed by Joseph Pilates. Using a simple wooden frame, a movable carriage, springs, a footbar, and adjustable arm and foot loops, Joe invented an exercise machine that addresses virtually every part of the body! From leg presses, to abdominals, to arms, to standing work, Joe developed progressive exercises that can be used with clients of all kinds from the novice to the super fit. Please make sure you are at an intermediate level and have reformer experience. This is not appropriate for beginners or anyone new to reformer.  We recommend comfortable fitting exercise clothing, but nothing that could catch in the equipment; those with long hair, we suggest you tie it back. • EHS Pilates observes a 12-hour cancellation policy for Group Classes. • All Group Classes run on a 50-minute hour. • If only one (1) client is signed up for a group class, it is trainer’s discretion to run a 1/2 hour private session. • If client is 25 minutes late to any scheduled class without notification it will be considered a late cancellation. Tips for new clients: • Arrive a few minutes early to your first session. • Please wear comfortable workout clothes. Socks are required. • Please bring your own water bottle. We have a hydration station.

This is a more therapeutic type of pilates rather than an intense workout.

This class was more of a beginner level - there wasnt actually an intermediate repetoire involved :( very slow paced.

What is ClassPass?
