About this class

The role of a strength and conditioning is to use exercise prescription specifically to improve performance in athletic competition. Strength and conditioning also helps athletes with injury prevention and proper mechanics within their sports performances. It is about more than lifting weights – it encompasses the entire development of the athlete and what is needed to improve physical performance. This includes plyometrics, speed and agility, endurance and core stability with strength training being just one piece of the puzzle.

Conditioning with Axel
Tough class, but an interesting challenge especially when you’re sick of the old routines. Be ready to do ninja like moves and make your body move like you never thought it would.

Unique work out, stations, and techniques. I found the variety helpful for my different muscle groups. The instructor did a great job of giving feed back and helping my form.

This class was really weird. Id read it was a MoveNat gym or whatever , so figured it would be a lot of body weight. The first thing we did was push and pull a partner in the bearcrawl position. Then we dodged a tennis ball on a string that our partners moved around. Then, we did jumps over a box like you would jump over a fence. We did knees to chest and suitcase carries, which were the most enjoyable for me, but overall I dont feel like this class is for me. Im not going to rate it lower stars-wise because maybe my expectations were wrong, but I would not recommend this as a workout. Just do yoga
