About this class

This candlelit yoga practice is super slow and cool. The first half of class eases you through several seated, passive poses held for several minutes on each side of the body. Rather than flow through poses, the fascia around your muscles is given the opportunity to relax and let go. Props such as blocks and pillows are utilized to assist your surrender to gravity. The second half of class is dedicated to reclined poses, enjoying hands-on adjustments and light aromatherapy bodywork while on your back. Finally, the last several minutes of class are dedicated to visualization, mindfulness and meditation. You will enter your evening pleasantly languid, clearheaded and primed for deep sleep. *Please bring your yoga mat or towel with you to class.

How to prepare

Students must bring a towel or yoga mat for floor barre. Tennis shoes are okay for Doonya Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move in and bring a water bottle
