How to prepare

Students should wear something light. You're going to sweat! Also remember to bring a mat and towel. If you don't have a mat or towel, you can rent them for $3 each at the studio. Please leave your valuables at home or in a secure place. We have locks available for rent. Body Temp Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Given the popularity of weekend Sculpt classes, there's going to be a lot of love in the room--meaning a lot of sharing the space. The Hot Sculpt classes are very crowded.

How to get there

You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time or you forfeit your spot and your reservation will be noted as a missed class. Please remember. There are 2 studios -- one is heated and one is unheated. The location of your class is in the Class Description. If you go to a class and something seems off then you're probably at the wrong studio. Note: The Renew studio is currently undergoing a seismic retrofit. The Body Temp Hot Yoga studio is located on the second floor above The Missing Sock Laundry.

Loved this class - temperature was warm but not too hot, sequencing was great, and liked the emphasis on core work.
Power 60 with Ruth
A little difficult to follow the moves just by the instructor calling out the names of the moves. Probably for a relatively knowledgeable yogi

Great dynamic flow // sweat! Thank you, Ruth!

I was sore for 5 days after!

Was pretty disappointed in this class. It was the Power 60 class which is described as a Vinyasa class on their site, but there was no flow to the class. It felt like a series of poses that were poorly combined, with little flow or even 1 sun salutation. The class was a slow easy pace, which, again, is not how it is described on their site. It felt like a beginner class because of the poses and the pace. I enjoyed the heat though
Response from the studio:
Thank you for the feedback. However, I'm not sure you went to the right class. Our Power class is most definitely a Vinyasa class and there is NO way there wasn't a single Sun Salutation. The teacher is a Vinyasa teacher as well. The only thing I can think is that you went to the wrong class or giving feedback to the wrong class.

The instructor was great, but I wish theyd invest a bit in the studio. The bathroom is kind of gross and my ($3 rental) mat smelled like feet.
Power 60 with Ruth
Fast paced class, quite a challenge. I bailed 3/4 of the way through.
Power 60 with Lucas
Facilities are fine and the instructor was nice but he should have turned away a client who was very clearly unwell sneezing, coughing and blowing his nose repeatedly in a room full of yogis with hot air recirculating. If you are unwell, please please be considerate and do not come to class and spread illness! Instructors please be practical and hygienic in the environment you provide! I felt really uncomfortable and nearly left.
Power 60 with Lucas
Lucas is the best.
Power 60 with Ruth
The music was a random mix and was quite distracting. Also the flow seemed a bit off the cuff and moved too quickly at times so it was hard to follow.
