About this class

Location: Body Temp Yoga 2425 Chestnut Street (above the Missing Sock) Heat:95°F Music: up-tempo ambient with a beat Levels: all -- beginner and experienced alike Hot Pilates Core & More is an integrated core class which combines classical Pilates mat principles into a series of intervals, targeting the whole body to strengthen and build long, lean muscles and increase flexibility.  Hot Pilates Core & More focuses on strength-based rotational movements through the pelvis and core to help relieve back pain, and will leave you feeling stronger, more flexible and energized! We incorporate to use of Magic Rings, Corgeous Balls, Discs and light weights to better target the core or your core.  This class is an all levels class.  The room is heated with infrared heat to 95 degrees to help warm the muscles and improve circulation.  Come and create a stronger core, from the floor (this class is performed on the mat, thus zero impact on the joints!).   Mat and Towel are required. We have mat and towel rentals available for $3 each.

How to prepare

Students should wear something light. You're going to sweat! Also remember to bring a mat and towel. If you don't have a mat or towel, you can rent them for $3 each at the studio. Please leave your valuables at home or in a secure place. We have locks available for rent. Body Temp Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Given the popularity of weekend Sculpt classes, there's going to be a lot of love in the room--meaning a lot of sharing the space. The Hot Sculpt classes are very crowded.

How to get there

You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time or you forfeit your spot and your reservation will be noted as a missed class. Please remember. There are 2 studios -- one is heated and one is unheated. The location of your class is in the Class Description. If you go to a class and something seems off then you're probably at the wrong studio. Note: The Renew studio is currently undergoing a seismic retrofit. The Body Temp Hot Yoga studio is located on the second floor above The Missing Sock Laundry.

Class is always good and you get a good sweat, however not the most clean. Expect to get hair on you and for it to be a lil smelly. Especially if there are back to back classes.

What is ClassPass?
