About this class

Crowded class times are on the weekends at 9am! Please bring a mat or a towel or you can rent them out at $3 each. The classic 26 posture 90-minute hot yoga class with the Body Temp touch. Our approach to Bikram is compassionate, friendly and encouraging. We do not yell nor force anybody into the postures. Instead we cue our poses to be more muscular and more appropriate for each individual's body. Most importantly, we encourage people to do what's right for their body in the moment. Yoga is a practice. Not a discipline.

How to prepare

Students should wear something light. You're going to sweat! Also remember to bring a mat and towel. If you don't have a mat or towel, you can rent them for $3 each at the studio. Please leave your valuables at home or in a secure place. We have locks available for rent. Body Temp Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Given the popularity of weekend Sculpt classes, there's going to be a lot of love in the room--meaning a lot of sharing the space. The Hot Sculpt classes are very crowded.

How to get there

You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time or you forfeit your spot and your reservation will be noted as a missed class. Please remember. There are 2 studios -- one is heated and one is unheated. The location of your class is in the Class Description. If you go to a class and something seems off then you're probably at the wrong studio. Note: The Renew studio is currently undergoing a seismic retrofit. The Body Temp Hot Yoga studio is located on the second floor above The Missing Sock Laundry.

It was a bit hot in the room but the instructor was great! She was super professional and nice. I had to step out near the end because I couldnt take the heat, but would definitely recommend the class. :)
Bikram 90 with Chadd
Love Chadd's class - he's so knowledgeable and it flies by.

This place smells pretty bad. And the older guy at the front with the gray hair is not welcoming at all.

I love Ruth!

great class. the room is packed but somehow it doesn't feel crowded. chadd is great about getting you to listen to your body.
Bikram 90 with Chadd
I hadn't taken Chadd's class in years, as I used to come when Body Temp was Global Yoga. I loved his classes then but now - wow! He's a kind, engaging, and relaxing teacher. Loved the emphasis on sticking with what feels good for each individual student's body, with welcome modifications. Class flew by.

Though enjoyable, this wasn't traditional Bikram (especially if you used to come here when it was Global Yoga, owned by Mary Jarvis). The teacher was charming and great, but walked around the room and offered many non-standard modifications. The class also had soft music. Overall, a good workout just a little different than expected.

TBH, more challenging than I expected. I'm a newbie, so I bit off more than I could chew. That + the teacher gave almost constant feedback to the class. I like a more mellow direction
