Yin at Bella Kai Yoga
About this class
Slow down with this quiet yin practice that targets the deeper connective tissue with the aim of increasing circulation, improving overall flexibility, and opening energetic channels. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes with very little muscular engagement, supported by props. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to stronger, more dynamic (yang) styles of yoga and exercise such as running, walking, hiking, and biking. Relax into deep stretches in this meditative yoga practice. This class is 75 minutes. You'll need a yoga mat for this class (available for rent or purchase if needed). All props - bolsters, blocks, and blankets will be provided. If you have some of your own, feel free to bring them in as well.

How to prepare
Welcome! Whatever your current fitness level or state of health, rest assured you are taking a forward step on your path towards total mind, body, and spirit health and wellness. Bella Kai Yoga guarantees that regular practice with them will change your life in the most wonderful ways. View class descriptions on bellakaiyoga.com. Please hydrate before class, and bring a yoga mat and large towel (maybe two!) If it is your first time visiting the studio, please come at least 10 minutes early! Park in the perimeter slots only, please. Manduka mats and towels are both for sale and for rent. Mat rental and towel rental $2 each.
How to get there
Located in Kailua town above Agnes' Bake Shop. Your experience begins the moment you cross the threshold of Bella Kai Yoga. The lobby is warm and inviting, with a cozy nook to sit and talk story before or after class. The practice space is a calm oasis, evocative of the ocean and sky of our beautiful island home, with a glorious view of the majestic Ko’olau Mountains. Men’s and women’s changing/shower facilities are stocked with all you need to stay on your busy schedule or meander to a local café for breakfast or dinner. Park on perimeter only
