Fitness Level: Intermediate Outdoors Rain or Shine Meets and ends at 90 Canal St Showers & Locker Rooms Available at 90 Canal St. This is our original signature down and dirty military inspired and very authentic bootcamp class What can you expect? Any of the following: Plyometrics (jumping exercises), running flats, running hills, running sprints, running stairs, total body strength training, agility, cardiovascular cross training, crawling, and rucking bags and various heavy objects. These are just some of the general challenges you may encounter but seriously expect anything and everything. This class is sometimes on the move where we run from one location to another stopping along the way for different types of drills but this class can also run at one stationary location. Regardless of what the workout consists of the important (and sometimes the toughest) thing to do is keep showing up. Please understand when we are on the move we don’t just run for miles and miles without stopping. There are plenty of rest breaks and stops along the way and as long as you can achieve the class prerequisites below you will do just fine. In order to attend this class you should be confident that you can independently complete the following 4 prerequisites: 1. Must be able to jog/run 1 flat mile in 10 minutes or faster. 2. Set a treadmill at a level 7 incline and be able to jog/run at least a 12 minute mile pace (T.M. speed of 5.0 or faster) for 5 minutes without stopping. 3. You should be able to do the following transfer without discomfort or pain: Transfer from standing position to laying flat on stomach, roll onto back and then transfer back to standing. 4. Can’t be afraid to roll around in grass, dirt and sometimes mud.
