About this class

The Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is the progenitor of all Vinyasa styles classes. In this invigorating class, students are guided through the traditional sequence of the Primary Series, from sun salutations through standing, seated postures, to back bends and closing postures in a flowing manner. Discover for yourself the sophistication and simplicity of this style of practice.

How to prepare

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to allow time to sign-in and prepare for your class. Students may choose to bring their own mat. They do have mats available for general use, without a rental fee, however you may want to consider bringing your own mat. Wear comfortable, lightweight, flexible clothing such as shorts, T-shirts, leggings or
 workout wear. Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. It has been suggested, you not eat for about 3 hours before practicing.

The Beach Yoga Centre is located at 1977 Queen Street East, 2nd Floor in Toronto, ON M4L 1J1. The Beach Yoga Centre can be found east of Woodbine near Kew Gardens park, steps away from the boardwalk along Lake Ontario. Parking is available on side streets as well as on Queen.
