About this class
Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating, 45-minute, full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

How to prepare
While there is no particular dress code, they do encourage wearing comfortable, athletic clothing such as leggings, tank tops, and sports bras. All classes are done barefoot. If you're not comfortable with bare feet, there are grippy barre socks available for sale in their barre boutique. A can-do attitude! You can bring water or purchase it at the studio for $1. You can also opt for their unlimited water for $10 per-month option. If you would like to bring your mat, you are welcome to do so, but mats are available for use at no charge in the studio. For heated and cardio classes, you may also want to bring a towel.
