Buti Sculpt/Buti Yoga Combo Class at Anchor Barre
About this class
This special combo class starts with Buti® Sculpt - a 23 min. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class comprised of alternating rounds of strength and cardio movement and short rests. It's a full workout in a short time span. The HIIT structure of Sculpt® builds long, lean muscle and kicks the body into a heightened metabolic state, optimizing the body's ability to burn fat through maximum heart rate and maximum effort. Sculpt® also balances hormones and enhances cellular repair for up to 36 hours beyond the time of workout. Buti® Sculpt will be followed up with a 40 min. Buti® Yoga class. From the Indian Marathi word meaning "the cure to something kept hidden or secret" Buti® Yoga workouts transform your BODY + SOUL with cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement + conditioning woven into a dynamic yoga practice. Using the spiral structure technique, Buti® Yoga focuses on building a strong core. The music, movement and energy in this class will light your inner spark, align your chakras and leave you feeling empowered. *Note - Buti® Yoga is NOT recommended for women in their first trimester of pregnancy.

How to prepare
While there is no particular dress code, they do encourage wearing comfortable, athletic clothing such as leggings, tank tops, and sports bras. All classes are done barefoot. If you're not comfortable with bare feet, there are grippy barre socks available for sale in their barre boutique. A can-do attitude! You can bring water or purchase it at the studio for $1. You can also opt for their unlimited water for $10 per-month option. If you would like to bring your mat, you are welcome to do so, but mats are available for use at no charge in the studio. For heated and cardio classes, you may also want to bring a towel.
