About this class

This body weight training class will cover the basics and various types of exercises taught in regular calisthenics class. Focus will be placed on alignment and making sure that you are able to do the exercises safely. Newcomers are very welcomed! No shoes required.

How to prepare

• First timers -please arrive at least 15mins before class start • At all times, latecomers will NOT be allowed in • Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow for a full range of motion • Footwear not required for both yoga & calisthenics classes • Mats & towels provided • Bring your own water bottle, we have a water fountain • Bring your own bag for your sweaty clothing • Use of mobile phones strictly not allowed in class • Keep phones on silent mode in lockers • We reserve the right to turn away students who do not respect our rules

How to get there

We are just five minutes walk from Bugis MRT (Downtown Line). Exit from Downtown Line towards DUO and cross the traffic light junction towards Haji Lane. Walk towards Beach Road where the colorful graffiti walls are. We are across the side entrance of Piedra Negra Mexican restaurant, next to Pablo Cheesetarts & CIAO Italian restaurant The studio is on the 2nd floor, please access the stairs from Haji Lane beside the restaurant. Limited street parking available on Arab Street/ Kampong Glam area, come early at peak hours to secure lots.

i am new to calisthenics and this was a good foundation class to help me work out those muscles required for yoga poses. Teacher was friendly, clear and encouraging throughout the session. Will be back if schedule allows, thank you!

I was intimidated by the class when I saw my fellow workout buddies. They were muscular, slender, and looks like that workout frequently. And they all seem to know each other. As an overweight beginner I was taken aback. But after the class started I realised the difficulty of the lesson can be tweaked to each individual by adding resistance bands, changing the position, or with someone pushing you up (example pull-up). It was a full body workout. Even felt my core aching a bit the next morning.

What is ClassPass?
