About this class

PILOXING is an exciting fitness program that uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape. Weighted gloves are used to add extra resistance to the workout maximising cardiovascular health and toning the arms. The class consists of a 45 minute choreographed routine made up of boxing, Pilates and dance blocks. This is followed by 15 minutes of floorwork and cooldown. I guarantee this workout will challenge and energise you whatever your current fitness may be. Don’t be put off by the silly name! Piloxing may have come from LA, but I add my own South London flavour to my classes.

This class was absolutely fantastic, Amy is an awesome and motivating instructor! Being new to the class I felt very welcomed and able to feel the confidence to just jump right in. A very good workout that gets your blood pumping, great for all whatever level your fitness is there are high and low impact alternatives. Also a lot of fun! A bit tricky to find as there were no signs (its tucked away round the back of the school) but well worth the hunt! Will definitely be making this a regular class.

Great workout, you really sweat! Pilates-meets-boxing, so a varied session focussing on both strength and cardio. Amy is very welcoming (as are her many regular Piloxers) ensuring the class is accessible to everyone, with options to modify exercises according to fitness level. Highly recommended.

great class with hand weights and constant movement - good mix of boxing and repetitive Pilates movements. I really enjoyed and will be back. music is a bit intense and may not work for everyone but I enjoyed it! instructor was lovely.
