Ashtanga Yoga consists of a series of Ashtanga poses, with each series consisting of a sequence of poses or asanas. The class will introduce inversions, advanced arm balances, and more involved transitions. Ashtanga Yoga is typically fast paced, vigorous and physically challenging. Ashtanga Yoga strengthens the muscles and improves flexibility and blood circulation. The session is also great for burning calories and reducing stress.
