About this class
Bridge the gap between yoga and fitness with the Yoga Gym! Explore new ways to challenge the body and mind with HIIT (high intensity interval training) and strength based dynamic movement within a yoga flow. This style of active yoga allows you to push yourself to new limits and activate different muscles than a traditional practice. Combine all the benefits of a gym session with the yoga experience; a workout for the mind and the body. INTERMEDIATE - Intermediate classes will provide an increased level of challenge. Instructors are there to guide and motivate you to work toward more challenging posture variations, faster sequences or to play with arm balances and inversions. Once you feel comfortable with the All Levels classes, trying an Intermediate class is a great progression to take your practice to the next level. ROOM TEMPERATURE - Class held in a room temperature environment.

How to prepare
Bring a mat, water bottle and some comfy athletic wear. If you don't have a mat, ALIVE rents them for $2. There is filtered water to fill up your water bottle and tea to enjoy before and after class.
How to get there
The ALIVE Long Branch studio is located at 3301 Lake Shore Blvd W (on the South in between 25th and 27th Street). There is paid street parking right in front of the studio for $1 per hour (free after 6pm and on weekends) and free street parking on 25th and 27th streets.
