Mind Barre is exclusive to Aleenta and surprisingly tough. It combines a long introduction of yoga flows to lengthen your body and strengthen arms, Barre to tone glutes and legs and Theraband stretching to improve flexibility. This class will certainly challenge your body and rejuvenate your mind.

How to prepare

Please wear fitness attire that allows you to move freely in. Also, although it is not required, bringing your own water bottle and towel is highly recommended. Bare feet is absolutely fine. Barre grippy socks are available to purchase at their studios should you wish to wear socks.

Located in St. James Square, head up the steps from Bourke Street. St. James Square is situated on the corner of Bourke & Williams Street, Melbourne CBD.

Rosie is a lovely instructor! The class was mainly yoga and focused on leg, thigh, and hip opening and not so much core or weight work, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back! I can already feel how sore Ill be :)

It was a good class and teacher, but I felt it was a little too repetitive and not enough range than others. So throughout the class we did 2 sets of leg raise and heel lifts 6 times. (Each set being 8+6+4+2). We didn't do any arm or ab work :(
