About this class
Five week series: Sundays, 2:15pm - 4:00pm Kick off workshop: January 20 Following sessions: January 27, February 3, 17, 24 (No class 2/10) Intro to AcroYoga is a class series introducing the art of acrobatics to the conscious movement of yoga. AcroYoga is a form of partner yoga mixed with partner acrobatics to take the practitioner to new heights. By taking the yoga practice away from a self-practice and turning it into a partnership of a spotter, a base and a flyer, it creates a new dynamic in finding strength, balance, and trust. The practice of AcroYoga helps individuals grow in these relationships, learning more about themselves, and how their partners of the practice are growing as well. All traits that can be taken away into the real world for our partnerships in love, business, family, and friendship. *Single-class drop in: $30/Members and online booking: $25 Price for five class series: $100 Members are students enrolled in Ahimsa's Gold or Silver memberships, $59 First Month membership, Workstudy Students, or Ahimsa Teachers.

How to prepare
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. Bring a yoga mat if you have one (we rent mats in Oak Park for $2) and a water bottle if you need one. Yoga is done in bare feet, but you can wear socks if you'd like.
How to get there
There is street parking out front or around the corner. You can park in the stalls across the street daily after 4pm. There's a bike rack out in front.
