About this class

Come strengthen and lengthen those muscles! In this ground class we'll use active and assisted stretch techniques to unlock your body's range of motion! Let's square your side splits, flatten your straddle, deepen your backbends and open up your shoulders. This is an all-levels class suited for new students looking to gain flexibility, as well as those interested in beginning contortion. Tap into your inner flexuality! 60 MINUTES - COED

How to prepare

For Lyra, Cube, Trapeze, Aerial Yoga, Rope, Hammock & Silks please wear leggings - no slippery clothing & a short sleeved shirt that covers your arms. For Pole class you should wear shorts, boy shorts or booty shorts and a tank, tee shirt, sports bra or bra top. Shoes are always optional - but we do love them! For Stretching, Contortion & BUTI Yoga classes wear what ever you are comfortable moving in but realize you can SWEAT a lot in these classes so less is more & layers work well. No lotions or jewelry.

Really enjoyed this class! Candace is friendly and doesn't take herself too seriously, but also clearly knows her stuff and had some great suggestions for how to get deeper into each stretch. Definitely give it a try if you're looking to increase your flexibility to accelerate whatever other training you do

Candace is phenomenal teacher. I loved this class, as a dancer it gave me an excellent stretch. She really warm up are back before going into more sophisticated backbends and holds.

It's a nice class! Got the best stretch I've ever had in a while. Best if you have some minimal dance, yoga, gymnastics background so you're familiar with basic positions (lunges, straddles, etc). If you are a dancer looking for a deeper stretch, this is a good class.

I wish I could give this zero stars. The studio was dirty. The whole studio was one room and there was some kind of teacher training next to the class. People were literally microwaving smelly food and so loud in the same room as the class. GROSS! You could not even hear the teacher as the training in the same room was so loud. This studio should not be a class pass offering.

It was a sub teaching the class. She's very flexible and inspiring to look at but she offered no modifications for a beginner like me.
