How to prepare

Aerial Silks can burn, so please bring proper coverage. Fitted pants that cover the back of the knees and a long shirt that can be tucked in are suggested for beginners. As you progress, it is advisable to buy a leotard, but it is not necessary for intro classes. All classes are barefoot. No rings or dangly jewelry.

How to get there

The building is a light periwinkle blue and the door to buzz in is to the right of the main Kryolan Retail/make up store. Ring buzzer #302 and someone will allow you in. If you are coming from Howard St. headed towards Mission, we are on the left second building from Mission (between Kryolan & Panorama). There is two-hour paid parking surrounding the building until 6:30 on weekdays, free on Sunday. If attending a class at night please do not leave valuables in your car.

Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Colleen
Really nice instructor but Im not sure i feel totally safe in a class this large. Also some students hog the silks.
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Angela
Super fun but challenging!
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Angela
Great first time experience, but I'd recommend the Intro class first to get down the fundamentals. Angela is a fantastic instructor and gave clear directions on how to perform the different holds. Wear leggings that cover your knees and a tank top.
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Colleen
Colleen has such great energy and I really enjoyed her class! She was organized, very patient and made sure everyone has the correct form.

fun challenge. wish we could spend more time practicing fewer moves
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Angela
Angela was a great instructor!! She really taught to the level of the class. I highly recommend.
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Maia
Great introduction to aerial silks!
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Maia
Great class! Maia was wonderful! But a big criticism is that the class was too many students for one instructor. Since we're beginners, there was definitely a lot of dead time waiting to get help, and poor Maia was running from one student to the next and pulled in all directions. I loved the time I had on the silks, unfortunately there wasn't that much of it as I spent a lot of it waiting.
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Colleen
Colleen is top notch. Really caters to the level of class, depending on who shows up. Explains things really thoroughly and is super helpful.
Aerial Silk - LEVEL 1 with Colleen
Colleen was great! The class was a mix of beginner levels and she was able to assess our experience and assign exercises for different groups of students accordingly. She was incredibly patient and helpful when walking us through each move. This was my first ever aerial class and even though I was able to perform the moves, it definitely was challenging and I would taking the intro class if you can.
