About this class
Stunts & Acro Gymnastics at Active Body Collective, with Mampara Dance and The London Roses: Stunt and Acro Gymnastics are movements in which one person (the flyer) is lifted by one or more people beneath them (the bases). Challenging and fun, athletes of all abilities and builds love stunting, which involves precise team work so the whole group synchronises exact timing for a stunt to hit. Excellent for building strength, there is a place for everyone in a stunt group, from tall backs and strong bases to tight and strong flyers. With top level (5/6) BGU gymnastics coaches on staff, students also have the option to build up their tumble skills from basic inversions and forward rolls, through cartwheels to handsprings, standing and running tumble passes and everything in between. It is excellent for fitness, for building confidence and for making friends. It's high energy, high spirited and collaborative, demanding focus, commitment and team work.

How to prepare
Please wear suitable clothing for each class. All equipment is provided. If your class requires shoes, please make sure they are clean indoor sports trainers (outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studio). Alternatively, you can wear sticky socks if you prefer.
How to get there
Address: 10 / 34 Haldane Road, Fulham SW6 7EU Our HQ and main studio is situated at 10 Haldane Road, SW6 7EU, (where it meets St Thomas' Way) a short walk from Fulham Broadway or West Kensington underground. To get into the building walk around the Brunswick Club, past The Wellington pub, to a gated entrance next to the basket ball court. Then just head down to the music! We also have classes at Sadler's Wells and Urdang 2, bookable with City Academy. Both of these can be found in Angel Islington, a 5 minute walk from Angel Station.
