How to prepare

Athletic apparel is required to be worn in the gym. The midsection and chest on all individuals must be fully covered at all times. The buttocks and groin must be fully covered at all times. Jeans, khakis and pants, with or without buttons, metal zippers, metal rivets, belts and belt loops are all not permitted. We have cubbies & lockers on site, but we do not provide locks. Please bring water in a closed container. We have water fountains on each level.

How to get there

We are located at 639 Frederick Street in San Francisco, directly across from historic Kezar Stadium. AcroSport's is easily accessible by both Muni Train and Bus. There is on street parking, or if you prefer there is a paid parking lot accessible from Stanyan Street. Walk up the stairs and enter the double glass doors which will take you to our Front Office.

Parkour with Elijah
This class is a bit intimidating for beginners, I'm always the only newbie in the class. It's a lot of fun, but I wish the instructor paid more attention and make corrections to us beginners instead of showing off his moves with his more advanced students. It was a bit discouraging just watching them.

So much fun. I have been telling myself that I'm too tall and awkward to do sweet ninja moves, but I actually had a ton of fun playing around as a first-timer, and could see how if I went back regularly I'd be like a real life video game in a few months of classes.

As a true beginner at this, my instructor was very accommodating and helpful with every move. The others in the class were just as supportive. The form he taught is very helpful for every person to learn! It was a great time!

Fun class. Prob not going to wipe you out like some of the other strength classes. But def different. Instructor is very positive.

Class was pretty unstructured. Spent most of the time on very very basic things like rolls, and very little doing parkour.

Good workout. A day later, and my quads are killing me. Unfortunately, so are my hands--I'm hoping this isn't an actual injury. For how hand/arm-heavy this class is, I'm surprised we didn't do any hand stretches or warm-ups. Also, this was a monkey-see-monkey-do type of class, with MUCH less instruction or corrections than other workout or sport classes. As an athletic beginner, I was frustrated having to keep asking for explanations. Despite this, I still learned a lot and can do basic moves now.
