About this class

*Instructor approval required for this Intermediate Class* To seek approval e-mail our Adult Program Manager For the Aerial Lyra lover! This class will focus on building combinations, finding transitions within the hoop, working on spinning, as well as holding strength and flexibility poses. Previous Lyra experience and training is required! It is highly recommended that all our intermediate aerial students take Stretching/Flexibility and Aerial Conditioning classes to help with skills taught in this class. Attire: Students must wear tight fitted clothing that covers their legs and torso (no bare midriff). Suggestions are: leggings, tights, tank top, tight fitted t-shirt. No zippers, buttons, sequins, or anything that will catch and rip fabric or the tape on aerial apparatus. If training Trapeze or Lyra (Hoop) socks or leg warmers are suggested for ankle protection. If training Tissu or Sling bare feet are suggested.

Chloe's the BEST!
Lyra (Hoop) - Intermediate *Instructor Approval Required with Keri
I've really come to appreciate Keri's intermediate class - she will transform you into an aerial badass. Class mostly focuses on foundational work such as single knee hangs, meat hooks and planches. Tricks seem to come second which is fine in my opinion. Without correct form you have nothing right? Keri's teaching style is more direct but don't let that intimidate you - she wants to ensure you're doing it correctly and you'll thank her later for it.
Lyra (Hoop) - Intermediate *Instructor Approval Required with Keri
Keri is a stickler for form and I'm not saying this in a bad way whatsoever. Compared to intermediate lyra classes in different studios, her class is the most challenging. Moves that are typically worked on include continuous inversions, single knee hangs, meat hooks and spinning. Take this class if you want your lyra foundational skills to be solid!

While the instructor was really nice, she wasn't very knowledgable when it came to teaching new things on the lyra

I wasn't told that Chloe wouldn't be teaching it :(
