How it works

About this class

A conditioning class focused on strength training for aerial awareness. Students will train hanging by their knees, climbing ropes with their arms and feet, gaining grip strength, strengthening their core, and be exposed to inversions on multiple pieces of equipment. No previous aerial experience necessary. NOTE: This class may train on pull up bars, russian bars, training silks and rope. Attire: Students must wear tight fitted clothing that covers their legs and torso (no bare midriff). Suggestions are: leggings, tights, tank top, tight fitted t-shirt. No zippers, buttons, sequins, or anything that will catch and rip fabric or the tape on aerial apparatus.

Super fun and mentally challenging- loved the class !
Aerial Conditioning with Alexa
Cool class. VERY challenging for me. Alexa is a good instructor.
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
Training-wise, very difficult and I was sore in my abs and arms like I never have been before! We spent half the time on a trapeze bar and did exercises there, but just holding the bar was really painful on my hands. The instructor was encouraging, though the exercises seemed advanced to me (I can't do a pike all the way up to my eyeballs!). The gym is like a typical acrobatics gym in that it kinda smells like feet.
Aerial Conditioning with Alexa
Alexa is attentive, friendly and encouraging! I liked how organized she was and she had a system of keeping track of how many reps everyone did and timed each activity. Everyone moved on to the next activity at the same time and at the end, she quantified our total number of reps!
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
Alex is great but since there are several stations you rotate through and about 5 different exercises to do at each, it would be helpful to have a piece of paper at each station with a picture of the activity/proper form. As the class currently is, people have to keep walking back to the small white board she has on the ground to see what's next and also ask her to re-demonstrate how to do it. Alex is really patient though and she always patiently demonstrates the moves again. The suggestion was mainly for efficiency. I love that she has a variety of workouts and changes them up throughout the month! I always feel challenged and work up a good sweat on conditioning activities that aren't overly technical.
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
Alex is amazing! Motivates and challenges me every week!

Great class!!!!
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
Alex has brought this class to life! She's great!!
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
Not interactive more like a work out the was like "here's the things go do it" rather than us all working together. Also no parallel bars or rope climbing involved as the description said. Base working out.
Aerial Conditioning with Alex
good workout but the instructor was not that attentive to most of the class.
