About this class
Ready to take your barre workout to the next level? This class features core-stabilizing, muscle-toning movements with an added kick (literally). In just 45 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down, you’re challenged to pick up the pace and break a sweat without losing form. With one foot on the ground at all times, students benefit from a low-impact exercise that’s easy on the joints, while increasing calorie burn with specified interval training that elevates heart rate between isometrics holds and active recovery periods. Familiarity with Barre X class is highly recommended.

How to prepare
For all classes, it is recommended that students wear comfortable workout clothing. They suggest a cropped or more form-fitting legging, as opposed to a flared leg, so you can see your toes and the instructor can observe your alignment. Come hydrated and feel free to bring water to drink throughout class. Barre: Barre socks (grips on the soles) are required. They have them for sale in the boutique for $15 a pair. Yoga: A yoga mat, loose-fitting, comfortable clothes, and bare feet. Also suggested is a towel for sweat and a bottle of water. If you do not have a yoga mat, they offer them for rent at the front desk for $1 per class. Pilates: Bare feet or barre socks are recommended. Cardio Dance: Studio shoes (workout shoes worn indoors only) are required.
