How it works

About this class

This class will give you a full body workout. Instructors focus on cardio, core strengthening, kickboxing and boxing fundamentals, as well as high-intensity interval training! Class is 30 minutes with nine circuit stations. You will have three minutes at each station. Please arrive 5 minutes before class time; latecomers will not be admitted. Boxing wraps are also required for class. Please feel free to bring your own, or purchase from the gym for $10.00. No wraps, no workout!

How to prepare

Here’s what you can expect: • Show up at your scheduled time • You’re welcomed by a friendly, certified 9Round Trainer • Wrap your hands for support when punching** • A 9Round Trainer shows you how to do each exercise based on your fitness level, taking your workout to the next level, so you get amazing results • Every three minutes, you move to the next exercise station • After station nine, your 30-minute full-body workout is over **Boxing hand wraps are mandatory. They are available for purchase at the gym for $10

How to get there

Rounds 1&2: Strength Training You'll use dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes & other equipment to build strength & stamina. Rounds 3-8: Boxing & Kickboxing Fitness Training The real fun begins as you punch & kick heavy bags to build power, double end bags to increase coordination & timing, and speed bags to develop shoulder conditioning & speed. Round 9: Core Training You’ll strengthen & tone your core as you "feel the burn", which improves your ability to perform any movement you do for work, exercise, or leisure.

Quick and effective, great instruction

Note: This isn’t a gym class, but rather a routine that you are allowed to complete in their space. There’s a 3 minute timer in the room, and instructions are written out at stations, and you have to follow those instructions. It’s very hands off, although the owner will come by and show you proper form if he notices you’re struggling. You may be the only person in the gym when you go - which is awkward if you’re expecting a gym class where you can blend in with the others during your workout. Overall, the work out is what you make it - no motivation or enthusiasm from the instructor. If you work hard, you’ll get a good work out - but if I’m going to work out that way (as opposed to being motivated and inspired by a leader and a group of people), might as well not use my ClassPass credits to do it.

Class was understaffed. Instructor was not enthusiastic and took 15 min to check us in because they were understaffed. Instructions for the exercises were also not clear so the workout was not optimized and lacked direction from the instructor. Facility and equipment was old and dirty. I would not recommend anybody to take this work out.

Really quick, pretty basic boxing workout. Instruction is pretty hands off and the instructor wasn’t very energetic. I probably wont go again.
