About this class

This class is the introductory and beginner level of "flow" yoga. In this style of yoga, movements and postures flow from one posture into the next and are generally aligned with the breath. In this class we will cover the some of the most common poses found in yoga classes and break down the poses to focus on alignment and modifications. Each week new poses will be introduced into the beginner classes, with refreshers of poses from the previous classes. Taking breaks and Q&A are encouraged during this class. We want you to feel comfortable to ask any and all questions about the postures, or yoga in general, in a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment. The instructor will take time to work with students one-on-one to help focus on alignment or help to gently deepen postures.
