We love exploring our cities! Read about a ClassPass team member’s perfect day in our newest location, Bristol, UK. Hint: it’s filled with good food, great people and a killer workout of course!
There is a reason Bristol has been named the “Happiest Place to Live in Britain” by The Times. The city is adorable and has a real sense of community to it, I found out Bristol even has its own independent currency used by some of the local businesses. This shows just how close-knit a community it is.
Pacific Yoga, which is located on the side of the River Avon and only 5 minutes away from Bristol Temple Meads station, is a great morning class spot. The studio has a café, which serves the most delicious food — great spot to grab some breakfast post-class.
If you get the chance, walk through Castle Park, past the Castle and into the city centre. You will eventually find yourself on Gloucester Road — I have been told by the locals that this street has more independent shops and restaurants than any other road in Europe. It’s long, so make sure you are wearing your comfy shoes!
After my walk, I found a great little cafe called The Crafty Egg, that also caters to vegetarians and vegans. I had the mushrooms, kimchi and hummus. DEVINE!

Seeing the city from the water in the early evening is beautiful — I hopped on a little ferry boat to take it all in just around sunset. The ferries operate all year round, so they’re a great way to see the city for a day trip like mine, no matter what season you’re in.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting, everyone can agree that Bristol really is a charming city which is why we’re so excited to bring the best workout experiences in the world to its streets.
