Adidas Has a New Video That Crushes Female Athlete Stereotypes

In all seriousness, badass female athletes have a confidence about them that we can all agree is inspiring. Adidas, just released a new video that celebrates women runners and the challenges they have faced just before the 2017 New York City Marathon.

The video that’s titled, Fearless AF, features a male announcer’s voice repeatedly listing all the ways women who compete are supposedly inferior, as the screen flashes images of female athletes doing their thing.

“Fearless AF means feeling the fear and doing it anyway,” Robin Arzon, a lawyer-turned-ultramarathoner who is featured in the ad, tells Health. It’s about “leaning into the knowledge that you’ve survived 100% of your worst days and a community of women is cheering you on,” she adds.

Praise.

Seriously, watching this video makes us want to put on our kicks and go for a run or try a new class. Because at the end of the day, women are truly fearless and can do anything we set our minds to.
