Ashley Graham Has Something to Say to the Trolls Who Put Down Her Workout Video

Our favorite body positive hero, Ashley Graham, often publishes videos on her Instagram profile showing off what she’s doing in the gym. So on October 8th, when she showed off her Sunday morning routine, it was nothing out of the ordinary — but the response definitely was. 

We get that you’ve gotta take the good with the bad, but sometimes people just need to keep their lips shut. However, some people did not and said things like, “Still fat tho” and “She actually works out? How is she still so fat?”

Um, rude. 

But Graham, being the amazing human being that she is, used this as a teaching moment and handled it with grace. 

She wrote:

“Every time after I post a workout video I get comments like, ‘You’ll never be skinny, so stop trying,’ ‘Don’t work out too hard, you’ll get skinny,’ ‘Why would you want to lose what made you famous?’ Just for the record, I work out to: stay healthy, feel good, get rid of jet lag, clear my head, show we big girls can move like the rest of ’em, stay flexible and strong, have more energy. I don’t workout to lose weight or my curves, because I love the skin I’m in.”

This is why she’s the best!
