Talk about relationship goals! We all know that working out with your significant other can get those endorphins pumping in pretty amazing ways, and this couple is showing us how it’s done – even when in a wheel chair.
Jessica Arevalo, 31, a social-media fitness star, and her boyfriend, Garrett Greer, a 31-year-old professional poker player are a match made in heaven. Having been dating since they met at a lounge in California last fall, one of their favorite things to do together is workout, even though Greer is paralyzed from a neck injury back in 2010.
The couple, who just recently moved in together, have been making a name for themselves as they post fitness related videos that couples can do together on their Instagram account. Even though Greer’s lower body has limited function, he’s able to do a lot of strength training activities with his upper body and says, “It feels good to be doing something active.”
The only way I like to get spotted by @jessicaarevalo_ – She’s been showing me new exercises but this was the best workout together so far!🙈 – Lateral raises 6 sets for 12 reps w/ 8 pound dumb bells🏋🏻 – P.S. We like to have fun hence our little dance at the end! Life is too short not to have fun!💃🏻 –
We totally get it!
Jessica has been the biggest encouragement factor for him (swoon) and he shares that “it’s cool when she comes over and spots me during sets, or corrects my form.”
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this fit couple!
