ClassPass Book Of the Week: For An Ending You’ll Never Guess

Megan Miranda is a pro when it comes to writing thrillers. All The Missing Girls had everything you need in a good book — family drama, love triangles, troubled back stories and of course, a big mystery to solve.

All The Missing Girls

Genre: Thriller

Who Would Love This Book:

Anyone who loves suspense novels or anyone who knows what it’s like to leave a small town.

Synopsis in 140 characters or less:

Nic returns to her small town and gets caught up in the drama from her old life. When her neighbor goes missing we discover more secrets.

Why You Should Read It:

The story centers around Nic who comes home to help her brother clear out their family house and move her dad into a home that would help treat his dementia. While in her hometown, Nic’s neighbor Annaleise goes missing. The more we learn about Nic’s past, the more questions we have. When I read thrillers like this I am always trying to guess the ending and figure out the mystery long before the end. With this book, it was impossible to guess correctly!

I don’t know why, but psychological thrillers with “Girl” in the title never seem to disappoint. This book was no exception. From the very first chapter, you get drawn into the story. After Miranda sets up the mystery, the story jumps two weeks ahead and is told backwards from there. With every day you learn new information that completely changes your outlook on what you just read. This phenomenon made it hard to ever put the book down!
