We’re so excited to celebrate our second birthday in London today! Though the time has really flown, ClassPassers across the pond have kept busy and active, trying everything from indoor cycling to boxing. Curious about stats for The Big Smoke?
Here are some of your favorite studios, how much you’ve worked out and more:
London has spent more than 50 million minutes working out.
Yes, you read that correctly! Based on our reservations in London Town, ClassPassers have spent 834,663 hours or more than 50 million minutes in class.*
Your favorite day of the week to work out is Tuesday
Can’t get up the motivation to exercise on Monday? (We feel ya.) According to our ClassPass data, Londoners take a class more often on Tuesdays than any other day of the week. And your favorite time to fit in a sweat? At 6 p.m., right after work. (And ahem, right before happy hour.)
Your favorite instructors teach at Lomax and Boom Cycle
Late last year, we asked you to nominate the instructors who really inspired you – both in and outside of class. We received tons of praise for your go-to instructors, but it was Anthony Garcia at Lomax and Bangs at Boom Cycle who won the title of ‘Most Moving Instructor in London’ for 2016. Learn more about them here.
The best locker room is at 1Rebel
Sometimes you want to squeeze in a good workout but you also want to grab some pints to reward yourself afterwards. Based on ratings and reviews from ClassPassers in London, the best locker room is at 1Rebel with 16 showers and a 3-minute wait, even at peak hours. And during the winter? No worries about being cold here – their floors are heated!
You like to Instagram at these studios.
If you don’t post an image of your workout, did it really happen? Okay, okay, it did (technically) but for studios that offer the best backdrop, it’s Blok London, 1Rebel, Frame, PHIIT and Ethos that get the most snaps. Learn more about them here.
Here’s where you can work out and fuel up in London.
Need some inspo for working out and getting the best healthy fuel after? One ClassPasser took us on a road trip around London to find super fun studios and local eats around London. See her journey here.
Keep it up, London!
We can’t wait to see what you’ll do next, ClassPassers. Check out city guide to stay motivated and try a new studio. Thanks for all your hard work – and sweat! – the past two years. We’re happy to have you all.
