On Veterans Day, we pay respect to the incredible men and women who valiantly served our country. There’s a number of ways to celebrate including giving the Veteran in your life a phone call, donating to charity and even taking a fitness class. Yes, you heard that right.

Here’s a list of classes across the country that are offering classes to celebrate this special holiday. 

Atlanta

Change your name upon arrival to honor a relative or friend who served in the Armed Forces. Then ride it out in an intense 45 minute cycling class.

Veteran’s Day Poised Pizza Party at Studio Poise
Friday, Nov. 11 at 11:30 a.m.
Celebrate Veterans Day by focusing on the future made possible by the courageous men and women who came before us at these mommy & me classes. Before indulging in pizza, kids can get their energy out in POUND while mommas get their legs shaking in Barre class.

Charlotte

Veterans Workout at Carolina Sweat
Saturday, Nov. 12 at 10:00 a.m.
Join Bill Heatherly for an intense military-inspired workout that pays homage to the strength of our veterans.

Columbus

Veteran’s Day GiveBack at Shift – Grandview
Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1:00 p.m.
Veterans and their family members are invited to come together to learn the healing movements of Qigong, enjoy a performance from the Ohio Playback Theater and feel the benefits of Reiki energy healing.

Friday, Nov. 11 at 6:00 p.m.
Honor veterans in this yoga class featuring 22 Chaturangas to bring awareness to the 22 veterans who lose their lives to suicide everyday.

Zen out on Saturday morning at a yoga and meditation class that benefits the Veterans Yoga Project.

Friday, Nov. 11 at 12:15 p.m.
Take an hour out of your work day to reflect on the brave men and women who served our country, while you get your sweat on.

Phoenix

Yoga for Veterans at Spirit of Yoga
Sunday, Nov. 13 and Nov. 20 at 12:30 p.m.
Each week during the month of November, active duty military personnel or veterans can attend this yoga class for free. Others who would like to attend are encouraged to give a donation to benefit the Veterans Yoga Project.

San Francisco

This morning yoga class is donation-based with proceeds benefiting the honorable men and women who risked their lives on our behalf.

Tampa

Community Adaptive Class For Veterans at Bella Prana
Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10:45 a.m.
This zen yoga class is ideal for Veterans facing mental or physical injuries and their caregivers.
