Nike and the Michael J. Fox Foundation just teamed up to do something pretty amazing to help Parkinson’s Disease research and it involves Back to The Future II. Yup, channel your inner child because those self-tying shoes worn by Marty McFly have been recreated…
…and you can win them for yourself.
These shoes are unlike anything Nike has produced and are an exact replica of the ones from the movie. Seriously, LED lights, self-tying laces and all. They are called “the Nike Mag” (just like the movie) and are pretty epic, if you ask us.
Here’s how it works: one pair of the Nike Mag will be auctioned live in three places – Hong Kong on October 11, 2016; London on October 14 and 17; and in New York on November 12 at The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s benefit gala. You can alternately join their raffle through buying tickets (only $10 apiece) online here or through the Nike app. (There will be 89 pairs raffled total and all proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.)
